Hurra Iraqiya Coalition denounces attacks against headquarters of Iraqi Newspapers

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Hurra Iraqiya Coalition denounced the attacks launched against a number of Iraqi Newspapers headquarters by armed elements.

A statement by the Coalition received by IraqiNews.com cited “The attacks expressed these attacking sides disbelieve in the freedom of expression and for the free press in Iraq.”

“We condemn these shameful attacks and call the security forces to provide security for the media institutions,” the statement added.

Some armed elements launched attacks against headquarters of some media outlets and newspapers in Baghdad on last Monday.
