IHEC meets Ayatollah Sistani in Najaf

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) A delegation of the Independent High Electoral Commission met the Religious Authority, Ayatollah, Sayyed, Ali al-Sistani, in Najaf province on Friday.

Reporter of Iraqi News stated “The head of the IHEC, Sarbast Mustafa and the head of the Electoral Department within the IHEC, Muqdad al-Shireifi, met al-Sistani as they arrived in Najaf province.”

“The delegation is supposed to hold a press conference after the meeting,” the reporter concluded.
