IIP congratulates Iraqi journalists on World Press Freedom Day

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Iraqi Islamic Party congratulated the Iraqi journalists on the World Press Freedom Day on Friday.

A statement by the IIP received by IraqiNews.com cited “On this occasion, we remember the martyrs among the media men who sacrificed their lives to convey the truth.”

“We call for more support for the media men in the media fields by granting a safe environment for them and to avoid restricting their freedom,” the statement concluded.
