IIP, PUK discuss political updates

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com)-The Iraqi Islamic Party and the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan discussed the latest developments in the region, Iraq and recent security incidents that occurred in a number of Iraqi provinces.

Iraqi News received a copy of a statement from the Iraqi Islamic Party which cited that “The member of the Political Bureau of the Party Hamdi Hassoun and his accompanying delegation met with the chief official of operating commission and the member of the Political Bureau of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK) Mullah Bakhtiar and the two sides discussed during the meeting possible ways to solve the problems of the provinces in general and Diyala in particular in various fields.”

Both sides stressed their determination to bring the different political views closer and continue to provide all the support to achieve this goal, the statement concluded.
