IQD 300 billion instead of IQD 100 billion allocations for Wave Breaker project in Basra

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP Susan al-Saad of Basra province announced allocating IQD 300 billion instead of IQD 100 billion from the federal budget to the project of Wave Breaker at Fao port in Basra.

Saad said in a statement received by IraqiNews.com “Fao port will be one of the world trade doors,” noting that “The concerned authorities have to work hard to expedite implementation of this great project and to ease the obstacles facing its establishment.”

“The increase in the funds allocated to Wave Breaker project indicates its importance as it will help reducing unemployment whether in Basra or in the other provinces of southern Iraq,” she added.
