Iraq keen to develop ties with GCC members- VP

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: Iraqi Vice President Tareq al-Hashemi on Monday stressed his country’s desire to boost its relations with the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) members, according to a presidential statement. “On Monday, Hashemi received the ambassador of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to Iraq, Abdullah Ibrahim al-Zawi, and discussed with him bilateral relations on the one hand, and Iraq’s relations with the GCC members on the other hand,” read the statement that was received by IraqiNews.com news agency.
