Iraq’s new Ambassador to Bulgaria submits his credentials
Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) New Ambassador of Iraq to Sofia, As’ad Ali Yassin submitted his credentials to the President of Bulgarian Republic, Rosen Plevneliev.
A statement by the Foreign Ministry reported “The Bulgarian President stressed the deep-rooted historical relations between both countries,” noting “The Bulgarian companies are ready to participate in rebuilding Iraq and exchange the formal and popular visits.”
“For his part, the Iraqi Ambassador expressed his appreciation to the Bulgarian President,” confirming the Iraqi government’s eagerness to refresh the relations with Bulgaria in various domains,” according to the statement.
“The Ambassador Yassin was Iraq’s Ambassador to Yemen,” the statement added.
