Iraqi ambassador to Qatar presents copy of credentials

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: The Iraqi ambassador in Doha on Tuesday presented a copy of his credentials to the Qatari minister of foreign affairs, according to a statement from the Foreign Ministry. “ Ambassador Jawad al-Hindawi presented his credentials as an ambassador of Iraq in Doha to Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ahmad Abdullah Al Mahmoud,” said the statement received by IraqiNews.com news agency. “ The diplomat conveyed the Iraqi government’s desire to open the Qatari embassy in Baghdad and asserted its desire to foster bilateral cooperation,” the statement added. “ The Qatari minister valued the Iraqi government’s decision to send an ambassador to Qatar and expressed the Qatari government’s desire to strengthen bilateral cooperation,” it noted.
