Iraqi Parliament postpones voting on withdrawing confidence from Youth Minister
Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Iraqi Parliament decided to withdraw the term of voting on withdrawing confidence from the Minister of Youth & Sports, Jasim Mohamed Jaafar, from agenda of next Saturday regular session.
Parliamentary source told Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) “The parliament’s chairmanship decided to exclude the vote on the request of withdrawing confidence from the Youth Minister from Saturday session’s agenda without clarifying the reason behind this procedure.”
The parliament has investigating Jaafar in absentia over charges related to corruption accompanying g the project of Sports City that is being implemented in Basra.
