Iraqi VP holds talks with Turkish, Qatari officials

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: Iraqi Vice President Tareq al-Hashemi held talks with Turkish and Qatari officials during his visit in Doha, a statement of his office said on Wednesday. “Al-Hashemi received at his residence in Doha Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu and discussed with him the latest local and regional developments,” said the statement received by IraqiNews.com news agency. “The Turkish minister underlined his country’s support to Iraq’s stability,” it added. “The vice president received also Qatari state minister for developmental cooperation, Sheikh Khaled Mohammad al-Attiya, within his talks with the Qatari government in economic, investment, education and health fields,” it noted.
