Iraq’s Islamic Party calls on Arab – Islamic regimes to make use of Egyptian Revolution’s lessons
BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: Iraq’s Islamic Party (Sunni) has called on the Arab and Islamic regimes to “make use from the lessons of Egypt’s ‘Revolution’ that caused the downfall of President Hosni Mubarak, warning those regimes from the rage of their peoples in the event of non-response to their demands,” a Party statement said on Monday. “The Islamic Party congratulates the Egyptian people, the Arab and Islamic Nation, for the great victory, blessed by God Almighty, that took place with the date of the birthday anniversary of Prophet Mohammed,” the statement, copy of which was received by IraqiNews.com news agency, calling on “the regimes and governments in the Arab and Islamic Homeland to make use of the lessons of that historic event, look back to their peoples, restore freedom and pride for them, otherwise the rage of those peoples would have no limits.” Noteworthy is that Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak had presented his resignation late Friday night (11/2/2011), following huge demonstrations that took place in Egyptian cities since 25/1/2011 and continued for 18 days, demanding the downfall of Mubarak’s regime that ruled Egypt for 30 years.
