IS: Iraq losses 509 IQD Billions in CBI\

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Spokesperson of the Iraqiya Slate, Haider al-Mulla, stated that Iraq lost 509 IQD Billions in the auction of the Central Bank of Iraq in the last three months.

In a press conference held at the parliament building on Thursday, he said “The CBI has lost 509 IQD Billions from the last three months in its auction which means when the current head of the Financial Observation Divan, Abdul Basit Turki, received the chairmanship of the Divan.”

“This amount was transferred to the Arab and Foreign banks,” he added.

“The banks of Beirut, Baghdad, Mansour, Ae’teman, Jihan, Dijla, Furat and al-Shimal have received this amount of money,” he pointed out, noting that “These banks buys the Iraqi currency without any auction where it instruct the CBI to sell the one USD in 1166 IQD where it is about 1243 in the markets.”

“The CBI is continuing its unsuccessful policy and the parliament has formed an investigation committee headed by the First Deputy Speaker, Qusai al-Sihail, which resulted in dismissing the head of the CBI where it is impossible to make the observatory side controls the executive one,” he concluded.
