Jaafari arrives in Morocco on official visit for several days
(IraqiNews.com) Baghdad – On Monday, Iraqi Foreign Minister Ibrahim al-Jaafari has arrived in Morocco on an official visit that will last for several days to meet the Moroccan Prime Minister Abdelilah Ben Kieran and House Speaker Rachid Talbi Alami, in addition to a number of ministers.
The Foreign Minister’s office said in a statement received by IraqiNews.com, “The Foreign Minister Ibrahim al-Jaafari arrived in Morocco on an official visit to meet a number of Moroccan officials,” adding that, “Jaafari will meet the Moroccan Prime Minister Abdelilah Ben Kieran, Speaker of the Moroccan House of Representatives Rachid Talbi Alami, Minister of Interior Affairs Mohammad Hasad, Minister of Justice and freedoms Mustafa Ramid, in addition to his Moroccan counterpart Salaheddine Mezouar.”
The statement also pointed out, “Jaafari will discuss the bilateral relations between Baghdad and Rabat, as well as the prospects of joint cooperation and the development of the latest events in the world and region.”
