Jaafari receives condolences from 3 Foreign Ministers over Karrada bombings

(IraqiNews.com) Baghdad – Iraqi Foreign Minister of Ibrahim al-Jaafari announced of receiving condolences from the Ministers of Foreign Affairs of France, Jordan and Lebanon for the Karrada bombing on Sunday in central Baghdad that left a scores of people dead.
In a press statement the ministry said, “Foreign Minister Ibrahim al-Jaafari received a phone call from the Jordanian Minister of Foreign Affairs Nasser Jouda, and another one from the Lebanese Foreign Minister Jobran Bassil, and a third one from the French Foreign Minister Jean-Marc Ayrault. The three foreign counterparts of Jaafari offered their condolences to the Iraqi people over the bombing of Karrada.”
The ministry added, “Jaafari also received a condolence message from the German Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier who also ensured Germany’s support for Iraq against ISIS terrorist gangs.”
