Jaafary, Talabani discuss settling pending issues

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Head of the Iraqi National Alliance, Ibrahim al-Jaafary, discussed through a phone call with the President, Jalal Talabani, the political situations in the country and the effort exerted to resolve the pending issues among the political sides.

A statement by Jaafary’s Office cited “Jaafary reassured about Talabani’s health condition and wished him good wellness.”

“For his side, the President assured that the Kurdistani Regional Government interacts positively with reforms efforts adopted by the Iraqi National Alliance to overcome the current crisis, praising the significant role played by Jaafary through the bilateral dialogues conducted with the Heads and representatives of the political blocs to bring the views closer,” the statement added.

It is worth to mention that Talabani is in Germany since the mid of last June, where he underwent a surgical operation in one of his knees. Official sources cofirmed that he will come back to Iraq after Ramadan.
