Japan condemns Karrada bombings and ensure exercising efforts to stabilize Iraq

(IraqiNews.com) Baghdad – The government of Japan condemned the suicide bombing attack in Karrada on Sunday and said that it will make great efforts to achieve stability and peace in Iraq.
Japanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in a statement issued to the media, said, “Japan is fuming after the suicide bombing attack in Karrada that claimed a scores of lives and injured a dozens more.”
“We condemn the terrorist activities against civilians and also the bomb blast that rocked Karrada prior to Eid holidays during the holy month of Ramadan,” further added the statement.
“Japanese government expresses its solidarity towards the government and people of Iraq and will continue exercising efforts to achieve peace and stability in Iraq,” the statement continued.
