Jubouri sacks secretary-general of the House of Representatives

(IraqiNews.com) BAGHDAD – Speaker of Parliament Saleem al-Jubouri decided on Sunday to dismiss the Secretary General of the Council of Representatives.
A parliamentary source informed, “Today, House Speaker Saleem al-Jubouri dismissed the Secretary-General of the Council of Representatives Ayad Namik.”
The source, seeking anonymity, added, “This decision is part of the reform measures that Jubouri have intended to carry out within the legislative institution.”
