Jumaili warns Maliki from creating new crisis with political partners

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The member of the Iraqiya Slate, Wihda al-Jumaili, warned the Premier, Nouri al-Maliki, from creating new crisis with the political partners, calling him to avoid disputes with the Sadr Trend under the escalation of the crisis between the Central Government and the Kurdistani Regional Government.

Speaking to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com), she called “Maliki to avoid targeting the head of the Sadr Trend, Muqtada al-Sadr, in this critical stage where his disputes with the Kurds are escalated.”

“Maliki has to keep away from the crises since they hurdle the political process,” he added.

“The escalation contradicts the democratic method which all sides are looking for,” she stressed, expressing her hope “To resort to rationality and to concentrate the Government’s efforts on building the Civil State and to accomplish the services for Iraqis.”
