KA MP criticizes specifying huge security budget within 2014 budget without security stability

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Mohsin al-Sa’adoun, of the Kurdistani Alliance criticized specifying huge budget for the security sector within 2014 budget without sustaining security.

Speaking to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com), he said “It is incorrect to specify such huge budget to the security sector and the security officials are unable to sustain security.”

“Many countries specify budgets to the security and military equipment, but in Iraq we do not see any improvement to the security situation,” he concluded.

It is worth mentioning that the 2014 budget is about 174.6 Trillion IQD where the biggest part of it goes to the security sector.
