Karbala mourns 4 persons killed in Baghdad attack
KARBALA / IraqiNews.com: Dozens of citizens in southwest Iraq’s Shiite holy city of Karbala paid their last respects on Saturday to four sons of an employee in the Iraqi Prime Minister‘s office who had been killed in a blast in Baghdad last week, according to a public relations office employee of the city’s al-Husseiniya district. “Al-Husseiniya witnessed on Saturday the mourning of four persons in one family, who had been killed in an explosion in a Baghdad district last Sunday,” Jamal Al-Shahrestani told IraqiNews.com news agency. He added that the explosive charge had targetted Anmar al-Assadi, an employee in the Iraqi Prime Minister‘s office, killing four of his sons. Sharestani noted that Assadi, a Karbala citizen, had lost his two legs in the explosion which also caused severe burns to his wife.
