Khalidi denies allocating financial amounts to MPs as stationery allocations

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The parliament rapporteur, Mohamed al-Khalidi, denied allocating two IQD Millions and 250 Thousands for the Members of the Parliament as stationary fees.

In a press statement received by IraqiNews.com on Monday, he said “What was mentioned in the media outlets over allocating financial amounts for the MPs as stationary fees, is groundless.”

“The parliament chairmanship announced that what the MPs spend during their investigation visits are subject to the financial procedures followed in all the countries in the world,” he added.

Earlier, some media outlets stated that Khalidi stated that the parliament granted two IQD Millions and 250 Thousands as stationary fees for the MPs.
