Kinani: Sadr may not attend Erbil meeting next Sunday

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Ameer al-Kinani, of Ahrar bloc pointed out that “The head of the Sadr Trend, Muqtada al-Sadr, may not attend the meeting that will be held in Erbil province on next Sunday.”

He stated to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) “Sadr may not attend the meeting because the final touches were set over the project of withdrawing confidence from the Premier, Nouri al-Maliki, and this issue is about to be implemented by the President, Jalal Talabani.”

“The attendance of some one to represent Sadr is enough,” he concluded.

Earlier, information was mentioned about Sadr’s attendance for the meeting which will involve the President of Kurdistan Region, Masoud Barzani, the President, Jalal Talabani, the Speaker, Osama al-Nijaifi, the head of the Iraqiya Slate, Ayad Allawi and The Deputy Premier, Salih al-Mutleg, to discuss the issue of withdrawing confidence from Maliki.

It is worth mentioning that Allawi, Nijaifi, and Mutleg, participated in a meeting in Nineveh to discuss the efforts for withdrawing confidence from the Premier, Nouri al-Maliki.
