Kobler on his way to Najaf

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The UN Secretary General’s Special Representative for Iraq, Martin Kobler, headed on Saturday to Najaf to visit the Supreme Religious Authority, Al al-Sistani.

Reliable source told IraqiNews.com “Kobler is on his way to meet Sistani in Najaf, then he will hold a press conference post the visit.”

The UNSG announced on last Monday transferring his Special Representative for Iraq’s mandate to Congo to chair the UN mission there.
