Kurdistan RegionG PM, Dutch delegation discuss current crisis, regional situation
Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Kurdistani Regional Government Prime Minister, Nechirvan Barzani, met at his office in Erbil, with a delegation from the Dutch Foreign Ministry, included Renee Jones Deputy Foreign Minister and Harry Molinr Ambassador of the Netherlands to Iraq and others.
A statement by Kurdistan RegionG received by IraqiNews.com cited “During the meeting, they discussed relations between Kurdistan Region and the federal government, in addition to the current crisis in the country and latest developments in the region in general and the situation in Syria in particular.”
“Relations between Kurdistan Region and neighboring countries, especially with Turkey were another issue discussed in the meeting,” the statement added.
“The visiting delegation during the meeting said that Netherlands will construct a monument to victims of Gas Massacre in Halabja,” the statement continued.
“Barzani for his part expressed his gratitude to Netherlands for its initiative,” the statement concluded.
