Kurdish MP demands Government to pay Peshmerga duesBaghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Ashwaq al-Jaff, of the Kurdistani Alliance demanded the Government to solve all the disputes related to the dues of Peshmerga forces and Oil companies working in Kurdistan Region within State Budget 2014.

Jaff reported in a statement received by IraqiNews.com ”The Federal Government must pay IQD seven trillions to Kurdistan Region as dues of Peshmerga forces since 2007 till now.”

”The Government should increase the allocations of law article (140) related to the Oil companies working in Kurdistan Region in order to accelerate in implementing the first phase of it,” she explained.

”These disputes should by addressed within 2014 State Budget so the Parliament may endorse the budget without any delay,” she added, pointing out that ”The new agreements between the Federal Government and Kurdistan Region stipulate to solve all pending issues through forming negotiating committees in order to ratify the State Budget project without any delay.”
