Kurdistan to take part in Iraq’s delegation in UN meetings

ARBIL / IraqiNews.com: The coordinator of the Kurdistan regional government for UN affairs said on Monday that the federal government agreed on the region’s participation within the Iraqi delegations in the UN General Assembly (UNGA) meetings and other UN agencies working in Iraq. “The Iraqi government and the foreign and planning ministries asserted the importance of Kurdistan’s participation in the UN General Assembly meetings in New York and Geneva,” Dindar Zebari told IraqiNews.com. “The federal and regional governments will coordinate their stances regarding dealings with the UNGA and other UN agencies,” he noted.   SH (P) 1
