Majority of Abu Ghraib prison’s escapees arrested, says Mohamedawi

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Secretary General of the Patriotic Sons of Iraq Coalition, Abbas al-Mohamedawi stressed that “The majority of escaped prisoners from Abu Ghraib have been arrested while others are hiding in different parts of Baghdad and its outskirts.”

He pointed out in a statement received by IraqiNews.com “The majority of Abu Ghraib prison’s escapees were captured except a few of them escaped to Syria while others are still hiding in different areas of Baghdad and its outskirts.”

“The government and the security forces have to deal decisively with those escapees especially those convicted of committing terrorist crimes against the civilians supported by some neighboring countries such as Turkey and KSA,” he added calling to implement the executions for those sentenced to death.
