Maliki accuses Sadr of conspiring against Iraqis
Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Prime Minister, Nouri al-Maliki, accused the head of Sadr Trend, Muqtada al-Sadr, of taking part in a conspiracy plotted by foreign countries against Iraqis.
Maliki’s media office mentioned in a statement received by IraqiNews.com “Sadr mentioned in a statement that he cooperates with Syria to choose a new Prime Minister for Iraq and expressed his regret for the failure of this scheme,” noting that “Sadr should have avoided previously and currently cooperating with some foreign countries against the Iraqis’ will.”
“Sadr should consult others to lead him for the right way before launching accusations against other sides,” the statement concluded.
