Mayahi criticizes statement of Gulf States Cooperation Council over Iraq
Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The leader within the White bloc, Aziz al-Mayahi, criticized “The statement which was issued by the Gulf Cooperation Council over Iraq.”
He stated to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) “Iraq does not need any recommendations or advices from the GSCC,” noting that “Iraq is a strong State that has good economic situation.”
“We reject such recommendations that are considered as interferences in the Iraqi internal affairs,” he added.
“The kings and the Emirs of the Gulf Countries are afraid over their posts due to the success of the democratic experiment in Iraq in handing over the authority peacefully so they attempt to foil this experiment through all possible means,” he stressed.
“This became clear for every one following up the stances of the Gulf Countries towards Iraq,” he concluded.
Earlier, the GSCC issued a statement over Iraq stressing the necessity of implementing all the decisions issued by the International Security Council like resolutions NO. 833 and 899.
