2 members of Najaf Provincial Council replaced

Najaf (IraqiNews.com) Source at the Najaf Provincial Council revealed the replacement of two of the Council’s members according to a decision by the Federal Court.

The source told Iraqi News told Iraqi News on Monday “Two members of Najaf Provincial Council were replaced, the first one (Nihaya Mohamed) representative of the Dawa Party and the second member is (Edrees al-Yassiri).”

“The Court’s resolution came as per assigning the seats to the provincial councils,” the source added.

The Independent High Electoral Commission announced earlier making changes for some of the winning nominees of the recent local elections conducted on past April 20.
