Mohammadwi criticizes calls to re-hold PCs elections

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Secretary General of the Sons of Iraq Alliance, Abbas al-Mohammadawi, criticized the calls of some political blocs to re-hold the Provincial Councils elections, describing it as “Professionally held and achieved unexpected success.”

In a press statement received by IraqiNews.com, he said “The success of the PCs election was a real hope to the Iraqis that preserve the freedom and the citizens’ right to choose their representatives in the PCs.”

“Describing the PCs elections by some political sides as being a joke reflects their loss and the loss of the foreign sides that they belong to,” he added, noting that “The Iraqis are victorious and always determine their future.”
