Mousawi: Delaying endorsing 2013 General Budget done by purpose

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Salman al-Mousawi, of the Iraqi National Alliance stated that delaying the endorsement of 2013 General Budget is done by purpose.”

He sated to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) on Wednesday “The General Budget was not submitted to the MPs in spite of submitting it to the parliament 10 days ago.”

“Delaying the endorsement of the General Budget is a negative indicator on the delay of the performance of the governmental institutions in addition to delaying the financial allocations to those institutions,” he concluded.

It is worth mentioning that the Council of Minister approved the 2013 General Budget which is 138 IQD Trillion in the 23rd of December 2012 where the parliament conducted the first and second reading of it.
