MP: Calls for withdrawing confidence from Maliki need Sound justifications
Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Abdul Salam al-Maliki, of the State of Law Coalition assured “The calls for withdrawing confidence from the Premier, Nouri al-Maliki, are political to gain personal advantages.”
Speaking to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com), he said “These calls need sound justifications,” noting that “It is not suitable withdrawing confidence from a government which an executive side presents the services for the citizens due to political or individual reasons.”
“The justifications for withdrawing confidence from the government should be based on its failure in presenting services or other duties,” he added.
“If some Ministers failed in their performance, these Ministers, who belong to certain political side, should be dismissed rather than the whole government,” he mentioned.
“It is not suitable to accuse Maliki, who has granted the media freedom and human rights in Iraq, of being dictator,” he concluded.
