MP calls government to prohibit travel to Israel

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Qasim al-Araji, of the Citizen bloc called the government to prohibit the travel to Israel.

He stated to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) “We call the government to prohibit the travel to Israel by legislating a law to punish those who violate this prohibition.”

“This procedure should be conducted to prevent the Israeli activities in Iraq,” he concluded.

Some media outlets mentioned that some Iraqis were observed with Israeli stamps in their passports and after investigations it appears they were delegated by some political figures to Israel in response to invitations from Israeli governmental organizations.
