MP criticizes governmental conduct in dealing with demonstrators of Hawija

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Wisal Saleem, of the Iraqi Slate criticized the governmental conduct in dealing with the demonstrators of Hawija district.

She stated to IraqiNews.com “The Government is adopting injustice and oppression as if we are in an occupied land rather than in a country that granted us the freedom of expression.”

She called to “End the military siege imposed on Hawija and to let the medical and food supply to be brought inside the district,” noting that “This is the duty of the Government rather than a gift from it.”
