MP: Disputes between Kurdistan RegionG, Kurdish opposition related to suspend authorities

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Baker Hama Sadiq, of the Kurdistani Islamic Union assured that the conflict between the Kurdustan Regional Government and the Kurdish opposition is related to the suspension of the authorities.

Speaking to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com), he said “There were essential articles submitted by the Kurdish opposition, represented by al-Tagheer Movement, the KIU and the Islamic Group in Kurdustan, to the Kurdistan RegionG and there were some meetings between the opposition and the President of Kurdistan Region, Masoud Barzani, but the response was not as expected and does not lead to settling the pending issues.”

“The pending issues are related to the parliamentary and governmental performance in Kurdistan Region, the constitution and the corruption in addition to some other issues such as the budget,” he concluded.

Earlier, MP Lateef Mustafa, of Taghyeer bloc within the Kurdistani Alliance launched fierce attack against the Kurdistani Democratic Party, headed by the President of Kurdistan Region, Masoud Barzani, accusing it of adopting double-dealing concerning the crises in the country.
