MP holds Basra OC responsibility of assassinating former member of Basra PC

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Mansour al-Timimi, of Basra province held Basra Operations Command the responsibility of assassinating a former member of Basra Provincial Council.

In a press statement received by IraqiNews.com, he said “We are sorry for assassinating, Ali Hassan Ali, the former member of Basra PC with silenced weapon by the terrorists.””While condemning this criminal attack, we call to conduct a comprehensible investigation and arrest the criminal and we hold Basra OC and Basra Police Commander the responsibility of the disturbed security situation and assassinating Ali,” he added, noting that “Ali is the second figure who is assassinated within the same month of assassinating, Jalal al-Mintafji, the head of Freedom Supporters Organization in Basra.”
