MP urges active German presence in Iraq
BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: The head of the foreign relations committee in the Iraqi Parliament on Wednesday expressed his country’s desire for an active German presence in Iraq. “During his meeting with the German ambassador in Baghdad, Christopher Weil, Dr. Hammam Hammoudi called on Germany to open universities and cultural centers in Iraq,” according to a statement released by Hammoudi’s office and received by IraqiNews.com.
