Musawi calls to arrest wanted people before their escape abroad

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP Salman al-Musawi of the State of Law Coalition called to arrest the sides involved in the terrorism and the corruption before their escape abroad.

Musawi told Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) “Iraq should address the countries that concluded agreements with Iraq through the Interpol to hand over the suspects and the wanted people to Iraq, stressing the necessity to conclude security agreements with the world countries to hand over all the wanted to Iraq.”

“The majority of the world countries adopt security agreements while Iraq cannot arrest any wanted person because of not activating these agreements where many wanted persons in different countries such as Turkey, USA, Gulf States and Europe were not brought to the Iraqi judiciary,” he confirmed.

“We wonder the US’s sheltering for the many people wanted by the Iraqi judiciary despite its support for the democracy and freedom,” he added.
