Mutleg, delegation of Sadr Trend discuss next political alliances

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Deputy Premier, Salih al-Mutleg, and a delegation of the Sadr Trend discussed the Elections law and the next political alliances.

A statement by Mutleg’s office received by IraqiNews.com cited “Mutleg visited the headquarter of the political office of the Sadr Trend and discussed the latest political updates in Iraq, the Elections law and the upcoming political alliances.”

“The two sides also assured the importance of endorsing the Elections law and holding the elections on time to preserve the interests of the Iraqi people and reinforce democracy,” the statement added.

“Mutleg appreciated the stances of the head of the Sadr Trend, Muqtada al-Sadr, that harmonize the national project of the Iraqi National Front,” the statement concluded.
