Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Deputy Premier, Salih al-Mutleg, discussed with a delegation from the United Mission Assistance Mission for Iraq (UNAMI), the prisoners’ escape from Taji and Abu Ghraib prisons.

A statement by Mutleg’s office received by IraqiNews.com cited “Mutleg and the head of UNAMI delegation, George Buston, discussed the prisoner’s escape by al-Qaeda Terrorist Organization.”

“Mutleg called UNAMI to seriously deal with this issue to revel the reasons behind the operation and the means of releasing the prisoners in addition to killing the security officials,” the statement added.

“For his part, Buston assured that UNAMI will do its best to reveal the truth behind this attack where it formed a committee to follow up this issue and contact the government to have the permission to visit the prisons where they hope to get the permission soon,” the statement pointed out.

“Buston expressed his hope to sustain security and stability in Iraq, calling the political sides to cooperate with each other to provide security to the citizens,” the statement concluded.
