Nijaifi, chieftains of Diyala province discuss security, service situations

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The parliament Speaker, Osama al-Nijaifi, discussed with a number of the chieftains and academic figures of Diyala province the service and security situations.

A statement by Nijaifi’s office received by IraqiNews.com cited “Nijaifi met with the chieftains and academic figures accompanied by some member of Mutahidon alliance in presence of the parliament reporter, Mohammed al-Khalidi.”

“The participants in the meeting discussed the latest assassinations and the arrest operations in addition to the negative phenomena,” the statement added, noting that “Nijaifi stressed the necessity of the big participation in the elections to achieve change.”
