No politics in universities – Minister

KARBALA / IraqiNews.com: The Iraqi Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research on Saturday said that Iraq’s universities should not be politicized, and have to remain separate from partisanship and sectarianism. “If we want universities to have a real role in the delivery of science and producing scientists, we should keep them away from politicization and partisanship,” Minister Abid Thiab al-Ajeeli said while he was opening Karbala college town. “They are Iraqi universities concerned with science to build the country,” he added.
