Nusaiyf: Foreign agendas behind calls to topple government
Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Aliya Nusaiyf, of the Iraqiya Hurra bloc assured that “Foreign agendas and Muslim Brothers Group’s ideas in addition to desires of some regional countries are behind the calls to withdraw confidence from the Iraqi government,” noting that “Many of the constituents of the Iraqi National Alliance, the Kurdistani Alliance and the Iraqiya Slate reject withdrawing confidence from Maliki’s Cabinet.”
She stated to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) “The foreign agendas work to keep Iraq instable and form a State that belongs to the Moslim Brothers’ group intended to be established in Syria,” assuring that “Some politicians obey those agendas and act accordingly.”
“Most of the political blocs are sure that if the Prime Minister, Nouri al-Maliki, continued in his post for the next two years, he will be the PM for the next governments,” she concluded.
The political leaders held a meeting on Saturday at the residence of the head of the Sadr Trend, Muqtada al-Sadr, to discuss the political crisis after the end of the time set to Maliki to respond to the letter of Erbil meeting.
Earlier, the head of the Sadr Trend, Muqtada al-Sadr called the Prime Minister, Nouri al-Maliki to visit him in Najaf before setting the final touches for Erbil and Najaf meetings.
