Othman criticizes Najaf meeting
Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) Member of the Kurdistani Alliance, Mahmoud Othman, criticized the meeting which involves some leaders and representatives of the political blocs, in response to a call for the head of Sadr Trend, Muqtada al-Sadr, in Najaf province on Saturday.
He stated to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) “The meeting will not settle the political crisis rather it expresses a clear political confusion where some sides were talking about withdrawing confidence from the Premier, Nouri al-Maliki, but today they denied this.”
“If the political blocs failed in settling the crisis, they should head towards forming a government of political majority and the others should turn into opposition as it is followed in the democratic regimes all over the world,” he added.
He called “The political blocs to solve the disputes through a serious dialogue by holding the upcoming national meeting.”
A crucial political meeting was held in Najaf province on Saturday, some political leaders attended the meeting while some others did not.
