Parliament 1st Deputy Speaker, Yemeni delegation discuss mutual ties

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The first Deputy Speaker of the Iraqi parliament, Qusai al-Sihail, received a political and tribal delegation from Yemen headed by Al Shareef Al Hussein Al Dhameen, member of the Yemeni parliament.

Sihail’s media office reported on Monday “Sihail discussed with the Yemeni delegation enhancing the bilateral relations and the prospects of the mutual cooperation on all levels as well as discussing the political situation in both countries and the region.”

“Sihail referred to the importance of promoting the bilateral relations between both countries as being having deep-rooted civilianization,” according to the statement which noted “the Iraqi people has distinctive ties with the Yemeni people.”

“For their part, the delegation’s members praised Sihail’s warm reception, emphasizing the need to develop the relations between both friendly peoples,” the statement stressed.
