Parliament to hold extraordinary session about Gaza – deputy speaker

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: First deputy speaker of the Iraqi Parliament, Sheikh Khalid al-Attiya, on Tuesday said that the Council of Representatives will hold an e xtraordinary session next Sunday (Jan. 11) to discuss the situation in Gaza. “Relying on a request submitted by most of the parliamentary blocs, the Council of Representatives will hold a session next Sunday to discuss the Israeli aggressions against our brothers the Palestinians in Gaza Strip,” Al-Attiya told IraqiNews.com news agency.
