Premier Maliki receives invitation to visit UAE

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: Premier Nouri al-Maliki discussed today with the United Arab Emirates‘ foreign minister the latest developments in the Arab arena, calling to develop bilateral relations in all fields. In a statement issued by his office, received by IraqiNews.com, it noted Premier Maliki met with UAE Foreign Minister Sheikh Abdulla Bin Zayid Al-Nahyan and his accompanying delegation. Both sides discussed the latest Arab development, as well Iraqi-UAE relations, the statement added. On his side, the UAE‘s foreign minister stressed the necessity of bilaterally coordinating stands for the benefit of the two peoples. He extended an invitation to Premier Maliki to visit UAE, which shall be taken as soon as possible, as the statement added. RM (TS)/SR 271
