Religious Authority Sistani receives Iranian Religious Authority

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Religious Authority, Ali al-Sistani, received the Iranian Religious Authority, Hussein Nouri Hamdani, who is currently visiting Najaf.

The Iranian Mehr News Agency mentioned “Hamdani conveyed the greetings of the leader of the Islamic Revolution, assuring that the Islamic Community is proud of Sistani and his role.”

“For his part, Sistani welcomed Hamdani, describing it as a pleased visit, assuring the necessity of preserving the communication among the Islamic schools and neglecting the tensions in all fields,” the News Agency added.

“The meeting lasted two hours where the two sides stressed the necessity of unity against the enemies of Islam,” the News Agency concluded.
