Religious Authority warns from lack of participation in next PCs elections

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) _The office of the Religious Authority warned from lack participation in the next Provincial Councils elections.

Ai al-Najafi, the head of al-Sheikh, Basheer al-Najafi was quoted as saying while meeting a number of the Religious Authority’s representatives in the Iraq provinces “The lack of participation will restore dictatorship in the country and will consolidate the corrupted officials.”

“The Religious Authority stress elections to enable Iraqis to choose their representatives in the legislative councils,” he added.

He emphasized “The adherence to the instructions of the religious authority to urge people to elect their representatives through active participation in the elections.”

“Under the instructions of the religious authority and the high awareness of the Iraqis, the process of nominating the best candidate is clarified,” he concluded.
